Now that the outline is finished its time to clean it up a bit. If you outlined your sketch with a pen I would recommend leaving the picture alone for a moment to let the pen. If you don't it could smudge. Ok, not grab a good working eraser and erase all of the pencil marks. The black should stay once all the pencil is erased leaving a nicely outlined picture.
Note: You don't have to wait for the ink to dry after outlining but I strongly recommend you do. I speak from experience.
Example: I outlined my picture on the computer in Adobe PhotoShop with a WACOM Tablet. They are very handy.
